Thanks for the tips everyone, will give it a shot.
The old girl is coming along. More progress with shakedown runs. It feels really nice to put on some miles, more than I have have in the past 7 years.
What is really neat is she's responding nicely!
Even neater is this jack, with an old-school label maker marked '006'. Too cool!

Looking forward to showing her for this first time later this morning in Pittsburgh. Six handled the trip very well!

Had a great time today in Pittsburgh for the PVGP!
#6 received a people's choice award along with 3 other 928s (selected from all Porsche models).
It was so cool to see #1 and #6 together again,
and I'm trying to figure out if Droo is checking the wiper for proper install... or he's needing a piece for his #1 928.

Back in Michigan with a layover near DTW (romulus), staying at my sister Betsy's boyfriend's house (Ron, he's a cool cat).
Six ran flawlessly the whole trip, even the vacuum lock works! No cruise and touchy clutch so those are next, stay tuned!
This isnt the last you'll be seeing of #6, matter of fact... kinda the first.

Jim,
Glad you made it back to MI safe and sound. After driving #225 around PA yesterday for about 145 miles...without incident...l'm pretty sure the old girl would have been fine for the trip.
Brian.

^^^ thanks for all the kind words, fellas!
1394km (866 miles) on the Pittsburg trip. Plan to keep logging miles.
I'll have #6 at the 12th annual Sharks in Hell, Hell MI, near Pickney, north of Ann Arbor, August 5th.
SIH is a great event with excellent 928s and owners/enthusiasts.
If you're interested in seeing a preproduction 928 press car in a casual atmosphere.
Hope to see you there!
