Victor wheels on 928s?

Hi guys,

I've been looking at Victor wheels and wonder if anyone has any expirience with then on 928s? I really like the look of Florio wheels, but the smallest they come are 19'' and I'm not sure if that will fit on our cars. Tourismo is the second favorite...

Thank You!

Many folks have 19" on their cars...it all comes down to offset and width of the wheels. Your ride will be much rougher... My buddy Chris bought my 17" FM10's to replace his 19" wheels and I am sure if he has not already sold them he would be more than happy to sell them to you...he LOVES the ride comfort of the 17" wheels... Personally I would not take the 928's above 18" wheels, but that is just me...

If the ones your referring to are those shown in your avatar how does that handle, the ride height looks way too high?

Is the engine in there? It does look high?

It's OK. I permanently removed the front spoiler so the front does look higher.

I was looking more at the gap between the wheel and arch than the front of the car, perhaps it's just the difference between the earlier and later cars as my GTS sits much lower. Nice looking wheels though.:)

IMO - 18" or 17" - for the ride and for the cost to replace the tires when the time comes.

I LOVE Victor wheels! So classy. But I love my 16" phonedials more. :)

CHEAP, yet good looking wheels to battle the Charlotte, NC potholes...

18 x 8 [ET45] (225-40-18) in front; 18 x 11 [ET52] (295-30-18) in rear... the 928 wasn't on the fitment chart -had to use 911 widebody fitment IIRC.

Victor Equipment LeMans wheels w/ factory colored center caps

NO spacers!

Victors.......cheap?

Maleficio 10-05-2010 07:43 PM

By the way, gorgeous!

They look ok.
Sure remind me of the Lotus Esprit wheels 2003-2004.

Comparatively speaking of course... less than $400 each shipped.

HRE; BBS; Fikse; etc. can be around $1000 each.

Im surprised the ET45 works on the front with the 8 inch wheel. I have been fighting this 'wheel-fitment' question; a lot of the 'information' is conflicting and confusing. How does it drive?
