Hi Guys, I need a driver's door handle spring mechanism (the part that attaches to the exterior painted handle). I have one somewhere but can't find itr ... I had done a good repair on one and have installed it but I'm sure it's a matter of time before it goes.

Just pony up $50 for new.
It's such a pain to replace it, why put in a used one that will fail a year later?

H as JD says put a new one in and make sure to lubricate the door latch mechanisim when you remove the old one,
a used one will soon fail
