I would not buy it for the interior. dash is a little cracked and the interior has the wear of a vehicle that has been in the sun of the San Joaquin valley for three years. Passenger sear is cracked and the rest of it is a little sun faded.

The drivers seat has typical bolster wear....the passenger seat took the brunt of the sun damage & has some missing leather on the lower seat....

The dash-pod are cracked, but the rest of the interior has LOTS of leather....leather covered center console looks pretty good & the door panels are also leather.....what really surprises me is how good the rear 1/2 panels are...they fit nicely which is surprising since the windows are not tinted either..

Once you consider a well running 928, with expected cosemetic issues....its hard to nit pick little things given the price!!!

If anyone is local and considering this 928, come on over and DRIVE it....it drives very well....

I wish it were in my neck of the woods. It would be parked in my driveway right now.

I'm always amazed that when there is a hot deal on the East coast the West coast guys say "if that were closer it would be mine in a hot minute" and when the hot deal appears on the West coast, the East coast guys say "damn, if that were closer I'd jump right on it".

I don't think people are lying, I think they're just quicker to make a deal in their head that they don't have to complete with their checkbook.

Looks like it is competiion package. That means blistiens as well as the spoilers, S brakes, and different gear rations. Not sure about the springs.

For those that ask if it could make it cross country , I personally have driven it out of town once. 35 miles in each direction . The rest of the time I just drove it to work (2 miles) or around town with no problems.

You going to be out there? I also live in Fayette, so you can just take it home and I'll pick it up there.
Welcome to the list neighbor.

This is not much of a check to write. With me, its about finding the time. Its hard to find the time to go across town to look at one much less a few hours away. That said, I did buy the 993 in Tuscon and drive it home.

Default I bought it!

Dear all,

After being inspired at Frenzy this weekend I have decided to jump into the pool headfirst. Going to drive the 82 back to NOVA from Stockton. Car is being looked over at Euro Trends today (thank you to Keith) and I hope to begin my journey home really early on Friday morning.

Does any one have long road trip suggestions. I will be taking my ipod for tunes and will stock up on snacks etc. I was hearing some talk of relays I should get my hands on. What kind of relays? Also what else would be a good idea to pick up in Stockton before i leave?

Thanks for all of the paperwork advice from my earlier thread. I have a good list of what to make sure I have now.

This is such a great community,

Postpone your trip till the following week (15th, 16th, and 17th) and pop down to Anaheim for Sharktoberfest. Mark A. can set you up with whatever you'll need for the trip and you'll meet all sorts of rabid 928 owners .
Congrats on the new 928 ..
