I have less than 50 miles on it so it probably has some loosening up to do and I probably have more tuning to do, but my feeling right now it that the CIS (due to the restriction of the metering plate?) is keeping it from having the top end roar that the S4 and even my Ljet car have. It is nice and smooth on the bottom, but there is just not much launch. This despite Euro S top end. There is a SC waiting to go on here too, and that may cure it...
I'm with you on CIS on my 79, on the fence about what to go with next. Megasquirt is not even option on my menu.

I'll either copy my 81, go with Autronic or AEM. The #1 reason why I wouldn't copy the 81 is I have a 3rd car (non Porsche) that needs a stand alone too. So one way or the other I'll have two cars with the same system.

The downside to LH 2.2 is you cannot use the new cheaper Shark Tuner. So that adds about $1,000 to the bill. Being able to use it on two cars helps spread that out.

Now what could possibly cause that to be overlooked

That is classic. My 4 year daughter says this morning after a night out with the bride--Dad we had a lot of fun without you guys last night. Not too mention she pronouces Porsche the correct way too.

I think she's been hanging around the garage too much.........
Nice. Hacker.....you don't take PM's and someone needs to contact you.
