Default Carrier bearing 86.5 auto

Does anyone have the diy for carrier bearing replacement? Checked the new visitor area and did not find?? Thanks

If they are bad, you will need to pull the transmission, which requires pulling the rear suspension. From there you will need to pull the bell housing/torque converter. Pressing out the flex plate, then the bearings on each side of the housing.

Good idea to have the WSM's handy for this, it's all detailed in there.

I did mine last year. Roger can supply everything-parts aren't expensive, but like alot of things it's the labor involved. There is also a bushing in the pump that may need replaced too-WYIT.

Are you talking about the carrier bearings for the diff?

lets see.. Ummm
Carrier bearing in the differential??
Carrier bearings in the torque tube???
Carrier bearings in the torque converter housing???
Carrier /hub bearing for the rear axle???
Carrier bearings for the steering column???

A little more info would make for a better answer.
OTOH vague postings can lead others far away from what you really need
