Sorry to hear about it, rough on a DD.
Makes me wonder about avoiding all contact with the goof cutting across lanes, not so much morally, more technically as in what would happen from the collision, like spinning out or something. I'm thinking lateral nose to rear, the nose car stays fairly stable, but the car getting a lateral impact to the rear spins.
