unless you take a 928 apart and get first hand knowledge you would not ever have an idea of the time money work involved
Frankly Andy,
I dont think anyone is beating up the OP,
but rather sharing the wisdom of time in the saddle,
granted this info is free,
it has taken many others ,
countless thousands of dollars to figure out the reality of a paint project on a 928

( yes i redid a 79, it came out awesome and took all of 4 months to do, same color)
Would i do it again????????

I have a Maaco coupon for a full repaint for $249......and they mean a FULL PAINT...rubber , trim , window moldings, mirror rubber and they warranty it for one year !
