Was watching David Stacey's Gearz TV this Saturday. He was building a street rod and was using stainless steel fasteners when he said that you need to use never seize or if you don't have any handy, you can use Maalox!
He even said that he loves it for header bolts, as it doesn't burn off. Has anyone heard this before or tried this?

antacids contain magnesium and aluminum hydroxides. when they heat up the water is driven off leaving MgO and Al2O3 powder behind, which is very thermally stable, e.g. >1300C, and will prevent seizing. So, it all sounds perfectly logical to me.
