Has anyone tried to fit 911 gauges in the pod?
I thought it might look interesting. I like how the 911 gauges are separate from the the rest of the pod. I guess aluminum bezels do the same thing in style only. I have the digital information screen in my car, so it probably would be a no go for me. Anyway what is your thoughts?

Pretty sure somebody sells a set of ring bezels for the 928 gauges.

You do not ever want to know how complicated your instrument pod happens to be....hopefully you never ever have to go there.....forget about any changes be thankful if it simply works !
|
That it does...and quite well.

I think I will just stick with exchanging my digital clock for a nice older VDO clock....I think I can do that.

yes it can be done - but no, you don't want to do it

yikes! I am still waiting to see if someone has tried to put in the individual gauges within the 928 pod. Maybe the pod is too small for those.

The bezels listed by Jager are for the years that don't have the digital information screen. I will have to manufacture my own or modify the Jager ones to fit my 89.

I've got no other choice than bring this thread back to life and hope someone out there has some info.
