Interior Codes for '78-'81 Euros
I was wondering if anyone knew what the interior codes supplied by Porsche on the COA means. I have been unable to find what these particular codes are:
my 1978 light green metallic/cork pascha has code Y1/06 - what is "06" - i'm assuming cork pascha....
my silver/blsck&blue pascha car has code z2/05
my Talbot Yellow has interior code 70 which porsche says is cork leather?
my '80 silver/tartan car has Z2/DN - what is "DN"?
I am unable to find the codes in PET and just wondering if there is a list of interior codes somewhere?
I have a cork interior '78 US car as well with code "80" 'brown leatherette' - but the interior is cork. Is cork 'brown' per porsche?
I'm baffled at these codes. Any ideas?
Regards,
Alex

Jeesh - not one bit of info on the codes from Porsche? Does anyone have a code from a COA they would like to post? I would love to have a database of these codes so when we come across one we would know what interior color/cloth is supposed to be in there!

Alex, you probably already know that PET Section 808 has all of the part numbers, but I don't know how to translate that into the codes either. Maybe one of he code experts can chime in.

That's odd - my Silver '78 Euro with Black Leatherette-Black/Blue Pascha has code Z2/05 per Porsche...I'm almost positive it's original to the car.

Well, you may be right...
I know I need to see my ophthalmologist and may have confused a 5 and a 9 on the copy of a build sheet from another Silver '78 Euro with Black Leatherette-Black/Blue Pascha.
Sorry.
By the way, this sheet specifies that the AC (M573) implies the stronger battery (M197).

I was cruising the web trying to find info the "Uni-stoffe" interior when I came across this on the swiss Porsche site - it has PDF's of brochures that include the interior codes. Oddly missing '79 and '81, but most of the codes are there, including "DN" for my '80 Tartan car...just thought I would share..
