i took the bulb out of a/c switch .ac works without it . but i have never seen a bulb like this marked 16v
. 16 volts ??????
how can i get one of these bulbs mine is burnt out

I'm guessing its a T5 wedge bulb anyway, probably a 1.2W one like all the rest in the dash and console.

unfortunatly nothing close to a normal bulb in fact the case for the bulb is made to move that i can tell based on the movement of the switch .
if i could figure out how to add a picture i would post it
