Paul, looks expensive. Seen this several other times when he listed it in Princeton area craigslist.

It would have to be well-sub $1500 for me.

Work may look complete, but its an amateur 928 guy and a young school-age one at that.

Low offer, direct would be the route I'd take.

Better beer-up before you start on that one.

I remember this one being discussed before. This car has a different engine dropped in, electronic fuel injection change over, and paint that has had a color change. Interior looks decent enough, but a non-runner with all these challenges has to be cheap, like parts car cheap. I agree with Landseer and $1500 would be the max.

Everyone time I see a car like this it nudges me towards starting another project. I may buy an OB and install a diesel with an automatic for a DD. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI diesel for the US is 140 hp and 236 lb-ft torque and is at least 40 mpg highway cruising.

I really like that diesel idea except that I have been looking for a tdi for my 78 vw rabbit frakinstien project they aren't cheap to buy used more expensive than a replacement porsche motor infact, the reality of it is I have a cady 500 that would go really nice in a 928 but I think that an OB auto would suit that better. As for the evilbay car I do agree that its a $1500 parts car except that if you include all the parts he is giving with the car I think its well worth the price, 2 fuel distibutors, a full set of manuals and headers is well over a G the car itself doesn't look to be in bad shape at all. Has anyone here actually gone to see this car?
