They sold 3 to customers, all of whom ran into bridge abutments while distracted by trying to press one of those buttons way down low on the console.

Was it the keypad for the phone?

It´s an old car phone.I think it´s C Net, an analog device.

Yep - the old car phones in the ealy 80ies. The first Porsche I ever got a ride in - a 3.3 L turbo - had one installed like this.

On the poster, you can see the lever installed on the arm rest (what a stupid place - you'd bump it with your elbow all the time); the turbo had it in the glove box.
