The wheels just barely contact the calipers. I would have to have the outside of the calipers machined 3.5mm to clear. I've run 5mm spacers and less on my race cars for years with zero problems. Is this spindle issue directly related to 928's?

Those do look AWESOME! Beautiful car, can't wait to see your results from your SC build up! With your Euro top end, have you dyno'd your current setup?
Would be cool to see a before and after. Also how many lbs of boost are you shooting for?

minus 5 front and 1 rear.
So 48 front, and 51 rear now.
I have run as low as 45 on the front. (So does Heinrich).
However I had super stiff suspension that compressed a max of around 3/4"
And that was on a 8.5" rim. That extra inch I think would make these unusable without a fair amount of work.

Chewy8000 has not posted on rennlist since 10/1/2010 ...... highly unlikely to be reading this old thread. Quite possibly no longer even owns a 928. But yes the deep dish look does appeal to many.
