Dude, you've got some serious cement block feet. Size 7 and super wide? Impressive.
Hmmm.... as for the interior... I can't say that I like Porsche's new interior design. In fact, I quite despise it.
Porsche Engineers: great with mechanical engineering. Materials Sciences? Not so much.
On the flip side: how many other 20-25 year old interiors are in better shape?
Heel-toeing? Not a problem. My shoe size is 7EEEEEE. My problem is NOT heel-toeing.
Fuse Panel: I helped "fix" a mid-90s Beemer today. It's got a fuse panel in the engine bay, not sealed from the elements (nice) and another one under the rear seat. All the folks that complain about the complexity of the 928's CEL, consider than you could have TWO of them.
A telescoping steering wheel would be super-excellent.
An electrical system (in particular the seats and the diagnostic circuits) not designed by a high-functioning Asperger's Syndrome sufferer would be high on my list.

Sounds like you drive an automatic and do not take long drives.

I think they got these right;
the steering - perfect
the pod - lighting and all info easy to see
the heating - my fans can't be heard yet would make you hot in NE winter
Interior materials - (full leather euro) best leather I have seen, thickness and feel. The carpet is way better than any other that I have looked at in person (that means everything except Rolls/bentley), most leather issues probably due to PO's.
Things that could have been done better
dry sump - I agree
recessed wipers
all the stuff being done today - wheel/tire and brake upgrades
my exhaust set-up as standard
and I like the shelves, how many other cars have them.

More options for rear gear ratios
Option of a supercharger that looks like DR's
Enough room for 335 wide tires with room to spare or AWD
CV joints that can handle more power
PDK

How about an integrated remote-locking key, like the 986s got. Lexus had these in early 90s, wouldn't have been hard to put their upcoming Boxster solution into the GTS, the top of the line model.
I am so used to these keys now on other cars it seems like an anachronism to have to stick something into the door and turn it to lock or unlock ...
