Those are wheel decals that once were offered by Jager Engineering. It was a quick and easy way to change the look of the flat dish wheels at a time when upgrading to larger formats wasn't as common as it is today.

I don't know what's worse, the company (Jageng) that made the stickers or the poor sap that bought them. I've seen a set in real life, they are as bad as these pics but from 10ft away, you can't really tell.

There was that dude at SITM who'd machined manholes in a similar manner the sticker represents.
I thought the 8" wider looked pretty realistic. The 7" front... not so much.

That was my set of set of wheels at SITM. I didn't machine them, they were on the car when I bought it. I can't speak for the previous owner, but I've never tried to pass them off as Clubsports. I do think they look better than regular manholes though. As fas as strength goes, I don't think they are weak at all. Still a lot of meat there. Someone commented one time that I might have some of the lightest wheels around. Can't really say, but if I ever have a tire broke off of one, I'll weigh it.

My S4 flats actually have the relief in the backside of the centers to show where they are clubsports or D90's at heart. The thinking was there from early on I guess.
