Default mountain drive/winery tour yesterday

Since I couldn't make Greg's drive last weekend, I got free this weekend and went for a drive in the mountains with another local group. Look who showed up!

Hmmm...this car looks familiar.

Hard to tell but I am 6th in line here, behind a 997, a 430 Scuderia (what an amazing sound), a 458 with Tubi (also amazing sound), a 328 and a Maserati QP. The Maser kept up really well, but when that Scud and the 458 took off there was no catching them!

A group shot at one of the stops. The two 928s are there, just back near the road.

The Wolf Mountain Winery was the final destination. Beautiful place, great food and good wine too. Think there was some money in this lot?

No your eyes are NOT deceiving you. Look what showed up at the winery.

You can see the rest of the pics I took here. We dodged the rain all day and it was a gorgeous drive.

Sorry man. This weekend the kids are gone and Peggy was doing her own thing, so I was on my own. I'll make the next one!

Wow! That is some automotive celebrity. Surprised there does not appear to be any British marques represented. Looks like a fantastic day! Mountains??? Wasn't this in Georgia?

er...lots of mountains in Georgia - see "Appalachians." Actually we had Germany, Italy and England well represented. Other than the Porsches and Ferraris, there was a 2009 V8 Vantage and a 2008 DB9. Yeah it was a nice run.

I mean real mountains. Though the Appalachians was at one time the tallest mountain range in the history of the world. Erosion has knocked it down to mere foothills when compared to present western Americas ranges. I need to check out your link for the additional photos. Great pics and thanks for posting.
