Targa Speedlines on a 928
Has anyone ever put these on a 928? I may have an opportunity to get a set cheap and they are 17x7/17x9 55 offset front/rear. They look like they are fairly well made.
Here is a pic of what they look like, the ones I am looking at have stainless bolts. looks like they could be disassembled and the outer lip could be polished. I was thinking on my black car having the center portion powder coated black, stainless bolts with a polished aluminum lip. http://www.autowheelsdirect.net/AWD993/Speedline6.jpg |
Fronts will be very skinny. Prolly can only put a 215 on it.
I believe a few 928's have run similar/same wheels, but don't recall who. |
You can get a 225/45 17 on a 7" rim no? My original manholes are 16 x 7 with 225/50 16's
|
Well then I guess you can. But still very skinny. Good looking wheel, though.

I have those for my winter wheels. 225 & 255 Blizzaks.

225 tire works great on a 7" wheel. I have the on my Boxster S wheels in the front.

Here is a pic of a fellow lister with black centers and silver lips on a black 993. I would have stainless bolts all the way around.
