To drive a rear engine rear drive car real fast, lots of steering wheel sawing required

That's how I drive to work every morning... in my mind!

Nice run - he bogged it down a bit in the first hard right-hander after the transition to dirt, but that's OK.

Lots of work keeping the power end behind the steering end, that's for sure.

There's a 1990 film award winner that showed a Peu 205 pro rally car pretty much sideways the whole way up. More power than grip, just managing the slide and power in the direction you want the car to go. Drifting as an extreme, with power and speed added for effect. Might be u-toobed somewhere.

No not a PDK, that was the regular (or not so regular) race tranny in GT3 race cars. Straight cut gears w/ sequential shifting... Or let me put it this way, that is the same way the road racers shift their GT3's, this could be a totally different gear box considering what this car was designed to do...

Greg had one of these apart, out of a customer's Cup car a few weeks back. Tiny little thing, very trick looking. Dunno how the hell it stands up to the power those engines make. Guess it's a revs vs. torque thing.....

If Greg had it out it does not sound like it did hold up to the power.

Just when I'm starting to think I'm getting a handle on this race car driving thing, someone has to show me I'm still in diapers.
