A couple more questions boys!!
My ride seems to run a little warm in stop and go city traffic. Not in the red or anything but much warmer than highway cruising. Any ideas??
Also, the voltmeter seems to vary from day to day...sometimes it will even dip under 12 for a bit next day 13+ . Any ideas??
Did I mention I absolutely love my car. It was worth the wait to have the car I've always dreamed of sitting in my driveway.
People are amazed when I take them for a rip in her....fun to watch peoples reaction to a 21 year old car!! LOL

Undertray installed ?
Fan shrouds installed correctly?
89 has electric fans. Are they spinning at full speed?
Alternator belt proper tension?
Have you serviced your grounds? [important to service them]
Coolant mix correct (50/50)
Radiator cap holding pressure? (no leaks ? )
I would check all of these things at the beginning of the 'driving' season.

The voltage gauge in the pod is well known for being inaccurate. The best way to put your mind at ease is to take a DMM and measure alternator output at the jump posts in the engine bay. Should be 13.X Volts.
You might want to check for corrosion at the 14-pin connector at the jump post. Cleaning this up might give you a more accurate readin in the car.
