It would be interesting if Koni made the FSD shocks for the 928:

I also really like the bilsteins on stock springs for a street car.....firm in the corners but not too harsh...
eibach-bilsteins are a bit bouncy on the street...but when cut work very well on track!!! I also really like bilstein-hypercoil with 600F-400R springs...great on track and ride is pretty good too

Anyone know if the Bilsteins with stock springs will improve transitions and overall responsiveness of the car?

I had Boge reds with CS springs on the front of the GT and liked it very much, wasn't too hard at all to me. That was with a ride height of 175 in front. The GTS has Koni reds and Eibachs on it right now and is WAY too harsh for the street, even with rebound on full soft. Front height is 145. I am going to try Bilsteins and CS springs in front, and Bilsteins and stock springs in the rear. Hopefully that'll be a nice balance.

Hey Andrew, I'm a little slow on the above ... are you familiar with both Boge Reds and Bilsteins and saying they're pretty similiar in ride and handling? I will probably stay with stock springs since my car is an M474 and I find the ride ok, just ready to refresh my tired old 140K mile OE Boges ...

Boges plus adjuster sleeves and nuts is about $770. Assuming your old slleves and nuts are permanently corroded onto the old shocks.

I'll vote for Bilsteins on stock springs for the street. I have new Bilsteins (w/sport springs) on Chewy. They feel great!
BTW, my basic understanding is the sport springs are only 10% stiffer than stock.
Also, as a counterpoint, I have new Konis (w/sport springs) on Perl, and they are just a touch more harsh. Don't get me wrong, they are great, just no as fluid as the Bilsteins.
Roger,
GLWTS!

Boge stock grey shocks are no longer made as Sachs dropped them.
I have plenty of rears but fronts are getting harder to find.
I just sold a set for $550. Plus threaded sleeves and adjusting nuts if you need them.

So, I have stock springs and shocks on my '91GT. I'm awaiting delivery of the second round of the Eibach Spring sale at which time I need to figure out what shocks to put on. My main complaint is that the car is bouncy through the corners--in particular there's a wide sweeping off-ramp that I take every morning on the way to work at about 90mph--the pavement has some pitches and dips that make me feel like I'm in a boat--just not tight at all. I was pretty happily going along thinking Bilstein/Eibach but now I'm concerned by the comments here that that combination can give a bouncy feel. Maybe I need the DR sway bars if my main complaint is related to the cornering?
