Is this the next "928"?

Looks very cool... better start saving my pennies. The last time I heard, the MSRP was going to crest six figures.

Im surprised that that the Panamera does have heated steering wheel and heated rear seats as standard equipment. The 7 and Merc's this is all standard. By the time you start adding options to that the bimmer and merc come with as standard you have really eclipsed the MSRP into the stratosphere. LOL glad i don't pay for these options.. I'm not surprised the two door one would be more. Look at the boxster and cayman. This must be the first time in history where the roadster is actually cheaper than the hard top. wow..

If you want rear seat heating, you can buy a fully optioned 2000 Saab 9-3 SE for as little as $5k. No heated steering wheel, though.

I like this one! Simple, honest, valid forms. I'll take one in meteormetallic please, and with fitted luggage.

Went to the local dealer today and the Panamera I saw (probalby fully loaded) was $175 000cdn + 13% tax! If the two door version ever comes out, it will be out of my reach for a very looooong time.

As long as someone does a conversion kit to change the ugly front to something more 928ish...
I know it's personal taste, but I hate the look of the light/front wing of today's porsche.
Love the curvy/angleish look of the 928. (more the OB)

I think it's a 911 concept sketch. The rear window(s) too small for a 928-ish hatch. Needs bigger doors and a longer hood. Sexy hips tho.

If they ever do release a new 928, I will seriously consider buying one.

I like that picture....I DON"T like the panamera though.......

With the recent trends in "retro" cars its very possible they go back to the 928 design a bit more too

The sketch looks very much like one of the early renderings llinked to in the article. I bet it's quite an old drawing.

The initial target for the top couple model was over 600HP and over $250k to compete with the 599! You REALLY better start saving your pennies...and your Ben's too! You will need ALL OF THEM to buy one of these flagship Porsche Coupes!

Get the 996 style lights out of there, and go to the 997 circular lights, and we might have something.
