I'm praying that the special ticket will immediately erase existing invoices with 928sRus.

That would be the coolest prize evah.

You could sell it/them for a lot of "folding stuff".

Default Not the problem....

Motivation isn't the problem right now.......

Canada Post and the significant other are issues however...

Rules - each driver who brings their 928 to Marble Falls (one per car) will receive a special ticket.
Winning ticket will be drawn from Jim's hat on Sunday lunch time at the BBQ. Winner must be present to receive the grand prize. If the owner of the winning ticket is not present when the ticket is drawn, another ticket will be drawn until a winner is found from those in attendance.
Tickets will be given out on Saturday.

So get motivated and come on down. It's party time Texas style.

Thanks Rog.

I know, I've been tracking.
We've got the email working now.
It's the 48 hours in apparent limbo that p^&%$*d me off. I would've liked to have the car done this weekend.
Oh well, sucks to be me.....
I'm still going to try to get down to TX for the event.

Well, well, well. 1000 miles for a party. Why not. Let me put it on my calendar and see if I can get the wife to come down this time too. My 928 hasn't had many miles this year. Let's see only about 20,000 so far since Thanksgiving.

Just did 2,053 miles for the SITM event.......
3rd coast just another excuse.
The people make it the attraction though......
I had a great time in December. Just waaayyy too short.
And the weather being exactly the same as home didn't help.......

You must be referring to a real VW..... 997. I drive a lawn mower and a station wagon. Maybe some wood paneling on the Cayenne is in order.

If you make it, we can call it an 'international' event.

Chuck has reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn Hotel. Book direct with the hotel.
The park and dinner venues are booked also.
I will update the details as the time draws nearer.
Our favorite detail guy will be in attendance on the Friday.

I will be leading a tour on the Saturday to the North/West of Marble Falls into some unknown territory. Jim Mayzurk and I will scope out the route.
Possibly a wine tour for the ladies again.

Even Though 928sRus is sponsoring the event – ALL are welcome. Vendors, competitors, sellers, retailers but most important 928 LOVERS.
No one will be turned away.

We will be asking the 928OC for sponsorship as well.

Mark your diaries please.

We look forward to seeing you all there.
Roger

When making reservations online is there a Group/Convention Code we're suppose to use?

Brian,
Tell them you're with the Texas 928 Group.
Rates are $92/night city side, $102/night lake side. (take your pick)
I've got a block of 30 for us, I'll get more if we need them.

If you have any trouble, ask for the Mgr. Yolanda Guzman.

Friday and Saturday night will be at River City Grill right across the parking lot.

7pm on Friday night we'll meet outside on the deck. If it's cold, they'll have heaters for us.
7pm on Saturday we have the private room reserved. Steak and Red Wine, gotta love it!!

Working on 2011...they should be available at 3rd Coast if you don't get it before then. Unless of course we sell out before 3rd Coast...then you will be out of luck!
James- you've got to include your current avatar....NICE!

Your wife will love it. The wine tour is great. Theres a art gallery right across the street from the hotel and the area is just beautiful.
