I wonder If that radar detector is glued on or screwed on. If glued how would one go about to remove it without damaging the dash? If it's screwed in your screwed!

Well bad news, it was repainted... But not repainted original color! Used to be silver! What a shame... Here is the email:
Hi Robert.
I will get these pictures for you. The car is my fathers. They don't do the computer thing so I am posting this for him. I am very familiar with the car though. I painted it for him. I lacquered it and clear coated it. They bought it as silver and simply did not like silver. The car is in excellent condition. He does not drive much at all any more. I do know that the tool kit is original. I will get the pictures you are asking for tomorrow. The interior is spotless. It has been garage kept since he bought it. He has service manuals that he bought. I will try to post tomorrow
Man and it was an early silver...

Yep if the price was low and I had the cash to burn I would buy it, strip it and repaint it its original color... but I don't so I'll just sit back and watch... Good thing is that no one has bid yet, which if it stays that way it should bring some sense to the seller that he is way up, especially since the color was changed...

If the paint job was good and the price even decent, it would be a fun car to have...there are just hardly ANY yellow 928's out there! I always had a hankering for a yellow one...I'd prefer that it be the yellow '95 GTS from Houston, TX w/ the matching wheels and black seats w/ yellow piping and rootwood interior though!

If it was original yellow with the pinstripe.... It would possibly have been one of a kind... something to jump on, drag back to your cave and obsess over for years to come. Alas, It's a repaint.

I wish I could like the yellow with brown interior and blue pinstriping,,,,,just doesn't catch my eye in a good way.....Hope some one gets a good deal cause there appears to be a lot of interest!
