I didn't think you were working on your car this weekend. Doing the TT as well? Or just inside stuff?
Just the inside stuff John, don't want this one off the road more than a couple of days. Besides, need room in the garage for this weeks autos. Who knows when I'll get to it. I think I just need to block out a week for my own sometime in Aug.

Hey Sean, dont let john solder on your circuit board, it will be off the road longer than a couple of days.

I dunno Chuck, that looks an awful lot like Ed Hughes right there.

Damn!!! That even elicited a response from Justin Martin!!! I was wondering if we'd ever see him again.

Got some more bits from Paul Champaign today. Damn, I'm liking the way this is turning out.

Thanks Paul and Linda, they look fantastic.

Looks great Sean. Those pieces 'kinda' resemble the very rare and desirable 'grey-green'? Have you crossed over to the dark side?

Seriously, Paul's exceptional work speaks for itself.

Been offering to help with your TT and other stuff since this summer. Lets pick a weekend and do it. Or better yet wait till it goes out then replace it.

Classic gray, I love the grey/green, but didn't think it would look good w/ blue.

I know, but time is my issue, and has been since I bought the torque tube a year ago. Right now I've got an '89 with the trans sitting on the floor in here, going to be a few days before it's finished. This weekend I need to go to a customers house and do a fuel line repair and then the honey do lists.

It looks like I will only be doing my rear shocks before 3rd Coast, don't think I can get the time for anything else.

If any of our parts suppliers are looking at this, still need an airbag passenger side cover, and the parts that fit around the turn signal/wiper cluster on an air bag car. Classic gray preferred, but will take others.

You know, I was trying to get the Console piece off awhile ago and it doesn't seem to detach from the top. Does the Dashboard need to come off in order to remove the Console?

Nope, there are two 8mm bolts behind the center vent that point upwards that need to come out. There also might be one 10mm on the left side (glove box has to come out) but can't remember for your year.

What year did the dash with the plastic insert around the vents start?

'90 with the air bags. I jumped in headlong in to this, not realizing that there was a huge difference in mounting points and parts needed for updating it. Plus side is I don't have to worry about crappy looking parts........thus far.

Odd side is I have a perfect maroon dash from an early car in storage I could sell. Had intended to paint to match my blue interior, but, of course, decided to go the expensive way.

Now I pray for a 928 sport wheel in classic gray, for my 40th, somehow I doubt that will happen.
