Default Another GTS comes home to Texas!!

So one of my buddies from San Antonio calls me about a week ago and says, "Dude, I know you're a big Porsche guy, give me the scoop."

I proceeded to tell him that I'm not so much a "Porsche Guy" but really just into 928s!! After about an hour of selling him on the concept of the 928, I sent him a bunch of links. He really starts getting hooked and starts sending me links back to possible cars he wants to pull the trigger on. So he finds this one in Springfield, Mo.

This car was sold last year at RUF Porsche here in Dallas. Apparently, it was purchased by a Pathologist in Springfield who put about 1,000 miles on it in the last year. He had 8 cars and decided to get rid of it.

Don't ask me how Willhoit missed this one in his own back yard!!
41,000 on the odo

Mike rolled info DFW on Thurs night and we spent the day Friday having Sean go through the car on the lift at Roger's. He changed ALL fluids and installed the X-PIPE Roger and I took the car out when all was complete, and I've got to say that the car drives like brand new!! Cherry for sure!!

The amount of documentation that came with the car was Staggering! Every reciept since new and they were in a binder. Every document was in a laminated sleeve and looked like something you'd put together for a presentation!!!!

Welcome to the Club Mike.

Scratch that, welcome to the CULT!!

This car is in fantastic shape all the way around. Just seeing the sticker from the day it was sold was cool. $96k selling price.

Damn nice car.

The really cool thing yesterday, we had 3 1994 GTS's in the driveway and one 1993. GTS Party.

Wow, what's the count now... I think that brings San Antonio up to at least 5 or 6 GTSs!?!

Sean,

I found Mike's car on the Registry, looks like Chucky Z captured this one a while ago.

I only know of TWO GTS's in San Antonio and Bruce comes up to see us on a pretty regular basis. We have 3 GTS's in the Austin club plus a few more hiding out that are rarely seen at PCA events and never seen at the 928 gatherings...

That is a GREAT looking car and we don't have a SINGLE RED GTS up here! So, it will be GREAT to have another one and a Red one at that fairly close by!

hpracing, the 928 Owners Club for Central Texas (including SA) is based here in Austin...I am the director, president, den mother, whatever you want to call me and we have a REGULAR gathering on the Second Saturday of each month at the HOOTER'S in North Austin near the Lakeline Mall.

If you will send me your contact info (and Chuck if you will PM me your friends info) I will get you on the email distribution list so you will be able to keep up with us all and come see us often I hope!

There are two in Beeville which would include the SA conurbation.

Rog,

True that...didn't think about that, but they are pretty close to SA, but much closer to Corpus than Austin... probably why I don't think of them are part of "our" group down here so much.

Default So I was going oversees...instead it will be Dallas!!

I was considering to take VIN 185 (pictured at the "Hollows in Austin 3 weeks ago) oversees for a while, go figure! My plans have changed instead she will be Dallas with a "Fawsome" new co-pilot! (the left side of the picture is self explaining)
