Current: 28' Bayliner Cierra, Yam 1200 PWC, and Kaw 900ZX PWC. Used to have a Crownline 250CR, before that I had a Sleekcraft(kinda like Jims), before that a Searay 22', before that a Omega 21', before that Tahiti, Glastron CV-23(cool boat, look it up), Hustler 19', and a Hallet 19 with Casale V and 468 Chev.

I've had a few boats......

Default Formula Floaty Toy

This is my floaty blue Formula thingy.. It has a 496CI HP Volvo Penta with CMI headers and a few other things.. It's a Sleeper, that's reasonably quick, but rides really nicely in choppy water. It's just getting a new IMCO drive, and extension box, and a few other things on it.. Then after settling in, it will get the Blown 588 CI in the garage..

Default 928 boat

Here you go....16 valve Euro going into an 18ft hull with a jet drive. Yes..I know it will be under powered and that i should be using an I/O drive but I never really do anything easy way.....

Once I have the engine mounted and rigged, I'll pull it all apart for a nice 928 paint job.

Dr. Bob, Don and Greg,

Mentor Ohio was the home port of Sweet Tart until we bought her and had her hauled to the west coast. Great little yach club there and some fun racing.

Sweet Tart is a one off lightweight version of the regular Tartan 46. She has reinforced carbon fiber on the hull and topsides. She has a big over powered stick 72 ft that is stepped aft 2 feet and had 7'6" keel. Her PO was next door neighbor to Tim Jackett, Tartan Yachts founder and designer. Tim was chartered to design and build the best/fastest performance cruiser by the PO. Took three years from design to commission. She is a very fast, nimble boat that has a very light helm. It was our goal to take her to Kauai, but lack of slips in the only marina there meant she was orphaned and remained in the SF Bay. Though we are back in the Bay area we are contemplating relocating to places without facility to sail her, hence the 'for sale'. My recent car accident with attendant whiplash and presently out of sorts neck and back preclude me from heading out to Angel Island or out the Golden Gate. Sailing weather has been perfect. Just kills me to sit in her tied to the dock

Sweet Tart was the darling of the sailing magazine's when she was commisioned. She was on the cover of Cruising World, Sail and was the advertising showcase for UK Sails, Harken Winches and Delta Anchors. She has always been maintained to bristol condition by the PO and me. Like my 928's, Sweet Tart is a unique high performer, well beyond most of her peers. Willl be a sad day to see her go.

Default Lake Michigan cruiser

This is our Tiara 41. 30 knot cruise with twin Cummins 635hp diesels and can handle the waves when Lake Michigan gets a little bumpy. Our home port is Charlevoix, MI.

Thanks Eric, We're hoping to get to use it more often. It really is a great boat, 4 staterooms, twin cats, watermaker, two cat generators, w/get home spare shaft drive. 5000 natical mile range, a walkin freezer in the forepeak, she can stay out for 6months at a time, no problem. And cruise to any port in the world.

Not a boater currently but we ran Poker Runs from 2001 until 2008. Sold it before the down turn (wheew). Here is our boat Tunnel Vision, a 36 ft tunnel hull cat. 2 x 1100 hp big block blown chevys. 152 mph fastest GPS speed. Definately a wild ride. ORR and cars are faster, safer & cost less !!!

Very nice, bet it has a drinking problem, at a BSFC of .50 that would be a little over 183 gallons a hour.

Geez, I love my boat but I'm kinda sheepish. I got a tiny 2005 18' Four Winns with a 190hp IBOB Volvo-Penta, I'll just say it can't do 152 mph! I do get better fuel economy though, and it's paid for!
