Default WHEEL CENTER CAP SOURCE

I just picked up a set of chrome manholes for my 928 that are flawless! All four have never had a weight put on the outside lip and have no curb rash, period. No blemishes at all. I am going to need center caps for these, but am a little confused. I have seen some for sale that are 60mm, but measuring the opening on these wheels, it appears they sould 72mm. All info I have found on wheel websites show the 928 center caps to be 60mm. Am I measuring the opening wrong? Does anyone know a good source for chrome center caps? I am not wanting to pay more for center caps than I did for the wheels, but it appears inevitable. Any help is appreciated.

You can get a used set or regular caps and polish them. I've done a couple and the will look like chrome. Needs very little effort too.

Check with 928 Int'l. I picked up a used set several years ago and they were not expensive.

I have three sets with the porsche crests hand painted. I'm pretty sure that I have a polished set. I can't remember what I have in them. You may not be interested in the centers being painted. What would you want to pay for them?

Specialist and International should both have them. Not sure they are available with chrome plating. If you strike out with these two places you can try a place that sells aftermarket Porsche wheels. They usually carry a wide variety of center caps.

They're not cheap.

A polished cap will never look right, you need chrome. We have some good used ones but you might want to opt for getting a set newly chromed and we can have that done.

What about caps for the newer wheels? I've been hunting for a set of chrome caps for my turbo twists but haven't found any that I thought were reasonably priced.

Just about every Porsche wheel used in the last 20 years can use the same cap.
