These cars are supposed to sit in a Californian desert. Why hasn't anyone taken on the cars for renovation?

This is a great thread with valuable digital manuals. Is there anyone who has a digital '84 ROW manual in English (or Dutch)? It's unfortunately missing in the list of the opening post.
