The Camaro was a RS with the 3.6l auto............its went well but 'no grunt'.
The V8 has 426 hp and with a 6 speed should perform well..............anyone have experience?
928 content................I completed a 1100 km trip this weekend and the 928 was perfect...............22years old and the attraction on the hwy is obvious.

Had to try it out Colin and it was fun...............my 928 would kill it dead in 2nd at 140............the Camaro barely reached 120.
Despite the acceleration factor, comfort and new car appeal a Camaro is a Chev................a 928 is a Porsche

Few will get the implications; driving a 928 to its fullest has to have a driver that exploits the engine/gbox.............then it becomes a very powerfull GT car that will take on all modern cars.

John is getting a V8, six speed, SS/RS all the bells and stuff.
He will drive it for a bit, says the Chevelle is first, then the Camaro.
I will make a full post on both when we get them done.
I tried to get him to buy Gio's 928, cause when it is all said and done, it is still a Camaro.
He looked at the new Corvettes and even drove a Cayman S for a few days, but he could not get two sets of golf clubs in either one.

I haven't driven an auto but I've driven manual V6 and V8 cars. The V8 feels a ton faster, and it is. I think the styling looks nice from the outside, but visibility from inside is very compromised. The doors are high, the windshield is low, and you can't see anything in the rear 3/4 view.

John My thought exactly, liked the outside and performance but the inside was horrible!
That doesn't mean I wouldn't mind one in my driveway. I personally like the SRT Challenger!

I just hope they have fixed the camshaft tolerance issues with that engine...
