Default Rear AC question

My rear AC is blowing out some white dust. I am trying to figure out how to clean it all up.
I am not sure what the dust is or where it comes from. Car was in the body shop a while ago, maybe there is some dust in there somewhere, or PO dropped a load of cocaine in the rear AC...

In any case, I don't want to be breathing it or get it all over the car.

Where does the air get pulled into the rear condensor?

cheers,
Sab

Well, to be picky, that's actually an evaporator... ;-)

The air is drawn in through that grille at the back of the rear air unit. The whole thing is pretty self-contained. Maybe dust from disintegrated spare wheel cover foam?

Yeah, stick to that story about the PO. I'd suggest you stay away from any police dogs until the matter gets snorted.....I mean sorted out.

blew it out and flushed it, looks like no more dust is coming out of it now.
Seems like the whole system runs cooler with the rear AC engaged.
