Finished the job and Drove the GT down to Atlantic City last night (about 70 mile). It performed FLAWLESSLY. The suspension is tight, the car goes straight, and holy TORQUE!!!! Now I see what all the fuss is about. I'm keeping this one.

What a great car! I'll post photos tomorrow.

My compliments Mason on saving "Joe's car". Glad to see it is re-assembled, and not being sold as parts. I've had many enjoyable trips around Watkins Glen and Lime Rock with the harness snugged up tight in that car with Joe driving. It's gonna' bring you lots of enjoyment. Consider taking it back to "the Glen", which was almost it's graveyard! Then, you'll know what the car is REALLY capable of doing.

Joe had it real Low in the back.... fronts are set to stock height I suppose..... some tweaking to do- no biggy.
Still needs the front spoiler, adjust the pass. side fender, headlights aimed, and the ABS light is on... I might have put the wrong pump in...oops. The airbags are here, I just have to install them.... but I got a momo competition wheel from Carl and the quick release hub, so I'm not sure. I also got his aluminum motor mounts, tranny mounts, steering rack bushings, and skid plates. I have ss brake lines, a 928 specialists strut bar, and some really wide RH 18" wheels..... gonna have to roll those rear fenders I guess Car will be at Hershey.

930 is leaking oil now from driver valve cover.... it needs the turbo replaced also (have it), as it smokes once fully warm. It should finally be done (2 years worth) for Hershey also. Hope to see you there Mr. FBIII, Maybe you can be the other Pilot in that runoff

Gary I'm very happy to hear this. I'm thrilled actually- it will add a little more excitement to the next cookout I won't ever take this one on the track though- it sounds like taboo to me

It already has. Hearing it fire up and having no after-effects to the motor was mega enjoyable.... and dropping the hammer on the AC expressway yesterday was all the vindication I ever needed from this girl. I'm glad I had the discipline to let it sit around for the last year, and restrain myself from selling off the parts- well worth the patience. A concept I'm still grasping with some effort- patience
