Default Does anyone know how to remove and replace..

I have a 86 928, which the previous PO has installed an aftermarket digital clock..by doing so had hacked the opening up to make it fit. I have a replacement console part and orig clock to replace it. It is not the whole console but the part that surounds the shifter and ashtray and clock. I'm unsure how to disassemble and put the replacement part in. It looks like is should be easy...but I know "MURPHY'S LAW" and do not want to screw it up. Any tips or photo's would be greatly appreciated.
One more thing....on the drivers side and passenger side window frame there is a little triangle peice that guides the windows as they go up...how does one replace that too?
Guess the spring fixes has started before the good weather is here to stay.
Thanks in advance for answers and help.....

If it is like my 87 you just kind of pop it out with a screwdriver by bending the plastic back.

The window guides are attached with a screw in the channel.
