Tape, or something, to restore air vent behavior?
Hi folks,
Just wondering if there were any known good fixes to replace the little pads inside the air vents that keep the nozzles pointed where you put them. What I'm talking about is inside of the door air vents, at least, and looks like a piece of padded tape that puts a bit of friction on the nozzle to keep it from moving too freely.
Thanks,
Paul

There is a black label type tape in there but it is only there to cover the mounting points. There should be a spring washer in between the end of the assembly and the hole that it mounts in that prevents the nozzle from spinning freely. If the assembly has been removed before for any reason, there's a good chance that the washer is missing. They're small and easy to lose and can be a challenge to install correctly.
