I've been really wondering about superchargers actually. I'm torn. If I can get my car tip top enough to be reliable, I can't imagine waiting much longer to supercharge. I'm almost certain I'd go with one that's intercooled. I just haven't checked into details yet as it's down the road and I have a lot of little issues to amuse me now. :-)

I asked 928 Motorsports about this and they, of course, insist that clearance is not a problem with their supercharger kits. I haven't yet studied whats out there, and who makes what and all.

I don't recall where I heard it, but somewhere I learned that it's hit and miss, that about half of superchargers will have clearance issues with the thicker, aluminum radiators. So I heard...

Not to complicate things but just how many people are offering supercharger kits for 928's anyway? More or less, aren't they all about the same thing? I mean, if I am going to install it myself, and could spend around $8000 for the job, is there a particular one that is much better than the others?

Also, what do you think a reasonable price would be for my 89S4's original radiator if I sell it, with a light leak, repairable with tanks or whatnot?

I'm pretty excited to get back to this car. Things kept preventing me from being able to focus on it and I've been putting it off for far too long. This should be the week that it all starts for me. Now about those tranquilizers... lol
