I need to replace several of the smaller wires that come off the positive battery terminal. They're red and look to be either a 10 or 12 gauge wire. Does anyone sell direct replacement or know where I can find the exact specs?

Most good auto parts store will sell that wire buy the foot and will crimp the ends on for you also atleast mine does

My local marine/boat supply store sells a tinned-in-the-jacket wire that's perfect for connecting to the battery, suitable for harsh environment like the car. On my S4, those smaller wires connect to the fuse panel, so the other end is relatively nice environment. The connectors there have push-in connector pieces that I believe Roger has. Again on my S4, there are two wires for the fans, and one for fuel pump/LH/injection/ezk. The WSM wiring diagram shows more connections than I have, so there my be some jumperes or connections made mid-route, ala Lucas.
