Default 79 white 928 on Ebay 17k miles. Smells fishy

There's a white 79 928 on ebay. I've seen this one floating around for a long time by a dealer who was asking 19,000.00. Now it's on Ebay. Crappy listing and only three pictures saying they will let it go for 7k. Smells like a scam to me. Seller has zero feedback/sales.

No VIN listed so you can't run a check. Yep, smells real bad.

We will know soon. I just told him I would like to see the car this weekend. We'll see if he answers.

its a requirement to list a VIN for all cars on eBay... watch for this listing to be terminated by eBay.

If it smells fishy does that mean there is flood damage?

3 pictures. Twe sentence write-up. No VIN. 'Quick-sale'. (Danger, Danger!!

Any serious collector would have an outstanding page documenting the car to the hilt.

Pass...

i don't think eBay will take the 78-79 style vin numbers (or euro zzz numbers), but he could have added it to the description.

Only 1 owner and 17k miles yet they put those wheels on it? Odd to say the least.

I sent the seller an email thru ebay asking the questions raised here - guess this confirms scam.
