My vote is to remove the rub strips and side markers.

I vote delete - IMO 928s look much better without them.

Delete! That black car used to be Robinsons I think? He had a black euro years ago. Looks like his work, lowered, big exhaust, clean.

I'm VERY seriously considering deleting my side strips too; and the biggest problem I see is whether you spend ANY time in a parking lot when using the 928 as a daily driver. Aluminum does not fare well next to SUVs, jacked up pickup trucks and old ladies in 9 year-old Buicks. That really scares me! I counted 22 harshmarks on my side strips once (slow day at work). Think about the cost of bump & paint on side panels vs feather & paint on a side strip. It is a tough decision for me but they all definately look better without the strip.

Delete them. Its a much cleaner look without them.

Agreed. Mine is an almost daily driver (3-4 days a week) and I always park in the middle of no where. But somewhere along the way someone parks next to you. I'm not sure how well aluminum doors do with PDR. Luckily I haven't had to try. The lines are cleaner without them but only if its more of garage queen or true weekend car.

I think the old cars < S4 look better with the stripes because the cars look not so plumb.
I think that´s the intention from the enginers at porsche.
The newer cars have a horizontal line from front to back in the plasticparts of the body.

Haven't had an issue with parking yet, knock on wood. But then I usually park at the end of the row and leave lots of room to the next car. Today is absolutely gorgeous here in Atlanta, glad I drove it to work today and I'm seriously thinking about bailing early and going for an extended drive home.
