Posted a picture of my engine on a Corvette forum, here is what one guy saw.

That's why they put covers over most modern engines... so people don't get scared from all the wires and hoses.

Well....to keep things 100% "even stevens" we should compare the 928 engine bay to the 2nd generation ZR1:




That is one sexy motor, I don't care if it's wrapped in a Chevy. If I ever did a domestic conversion with a 928, this is the motor I would use.

I agree that zr1 was such a beautiful engine.

If our distributors and wires were better arranged it would look a lot neater. It really doesnt look sharp, precise, or precision built but thrown together....I still love it though

Maybe Chevy should have asked Porsche to design them a V8 instead of Lotus.
