My wife went with me to the Tail of the Dragon and SITM a couple of years ago. She seemed to have a good time. When I asked her last night if sh wanted to go again she immediatly said no. There was no qualifier, just a curt no.
To be perfectly honest, I think most guys will have a better time without the wives anyway. You can spend your time driving, hanging out, BS'ing etc without worrying if the wife is warm enough, hungry, thirsty, bored etc. My reccomendation is to go with your buddies and pick your wife up a nice present at one of the many antique shops along the way. You will both be happier in the end.
