Joe, where is this track going to be? I like how your wife thinks! You guys won't miss OUR cars for a few hours, will you, will you??

Sue
Sue this is obviously some sort of hallucenogenic state no doubt bought on by inhaling nail polish fumes at the salon!

Leave the rev limiter behind. Trust me it's much more fun that way.

You two have his-and-hers, right?

She can drive her own and follow you!

I guess I'm lucky to have my wife attend SITM and OCIC all in the same season. SITM came with two days shopping in Atlanta. OCIC, came away with her wanting her own 928. And that will happen some day. Looks like I'll be in Atlanta again this Spring for two more days of shopping. Yes, I'm lovin' it.

My wife and I have been married twenty years come April this year.

She found out last night that I actually have THREE Porsches rather than the TWO that she knew about.

I'm guessing that I'll be forgiven some time right around my THIRTIETH wedding anniversary. Maybe. If I behave.

Its easier to ask forgivness, than ask for permission right?

On my trip home from the OCIC my flight was overbooked, and they put me on a different flight. For compensation, they gave me a voucher for a round trip to anywhere in the US, expiring after one year (August 2). I yet to decide what to do with it...

Should I stay, or should I go?

Regarding the Ring-Thing: When three of my friends did an apprenticeship as technicians at the Porsche factory, they told me they were not allowed to wear any watches or jewelry while in the shop. From what I understand, the greatest concern was that they could scratch a customer car by accident.

Nicole, if you've never gone to SITM or its been a while -you should come! It would be a fun time to reunite with old friends and make new ones...

Perhaps it could be a business trip as well... and write off any additional expenses? Dave & Jeanie may need some more door prizes too

I feel sorry for some of you guys my wife loves the cars ( hers is a turbo supra 90 model ) is regularly dragging me to supra club cruises ( it dont look very macho a chick driving with the guy in the passenger seat ) And she knows more about her cars and other guys cars than they do .

Nicole,

I'd definitely use the voucher for SITM. Great people, great cars, great foods, great roads, great scenery.

Be there or be square :-)

We did but I sold mine a couple of months ago...yes, I miss it terribly. I've been on the fence about SITM for a couple of years now. As much as I would love to meet a lot of the people that attend and as much as I'd love to see the beautiful area, there are a few things that stop me cold.

I can't stand car rides longer than 4 hours, it makes me crazy whether I'm the driver or not. Given that patience isn't my thing, I think I would get REALLY cranky with all the stops along the way. Oh and his car is LOUD, so loud that your head hurts after about a 1/2 hour. Therefore, I think I would make everyone around me miserable....and that's not very nice. So I stay home, get stung by wasps, hosed down in the garden section at Lowe's...you know, the FUN stuff lol!

Just to redeem myself a tiny bit, the speed part doesn't bother me at all

I think we can forgive you if you post pics of you being hosed down at the Lowes garden section. ;-)

Can Sean come this year?

Brought the wife a few years ago. Didn't turn out so well, too much screaming and not the good kind!
