A lot of time, money, and effort just for a joke....but the radial engine Goggomobile is pretty cool YouTube - Radial Engine Powered Goggomobil Jun 25, 2009 ... An epic story of a man, a 10-liter, 9-cylinder radial engine, and a very tiny Goggomobil.

Awesome, Defined: The 10-Liter, Radial-Engined Goggomobil ... Jun 26, 2009 ... Goggomobil + Radial Engine. The Russian-built, 10220cc Vedeneyev M14P radial engine was originally commissioned in the 1930's for airplanes ...

A lot of time put in it...yes. But not a lot of time available since I work full time as a Technician for Mercedes-Benz and work part time as a Personal trainer...

A lot of money...yes. We are all entitled to spend what we work so hard for...

A joke??? I think not. Just because I refuse to go with the flow and purchse something anyone can get does not mean it's a joke.

It's all about the challenge... I have been a mechanic for about 28 years. When I had my speed shop, I built NHRA legal drag cars, SCCA legal road race and rally cars, imports or domestic it did not matter. I go to car shows and see the same cars. It's very rare that you see something new. All cars that I have built for the last 15 years have been "one-off" vehicles and show winners. If it has not been done, then I find a way to make it happen. Here is another example of one of my cars:

I hope this shed some light on why I do what I do...

Mike: Hold on! It should have been clear Jim was refering to the folly of the other fella's radial in a Goggomobile, not your creation. Both are engineering feats, but one is a barely streetable mess.

I apologize for the mistake. I'm reading this post on my phone and it could sometimes be difficult. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Welcome Mike,

that's a truly awesome project. Me and my friend who's a former aircraft-engineer were following it on youtube since I spotted your first car on eBay - you've touched my heart twice - as shark-lover and as aviator.

Btw: I was always wondering how you solved the intake... I assume, you'll never have any problems with mice underneath the car (or birds above... )
