Automatic Transmission problem
I have a 1981 928 3-speed automatic.
Sometimes the car will not move. Then after several minutes of moving the gear-shifter, starting and stopping the car and "trying everything" then suddenly it starts moving and the transmission works perfect. If I not stop the engine I can drive 100s of miles without any problems.
Then the next day, sometimes the car works fine, and sometimes it will not move again..
The cabel between the gear-shifter and the gearbox is ok.

did you check the fluid level?? with the car warmed up?? do this with the engine at idle, and after you have run the shifter through all of the shift selections, put it back in park and then set the e brake then look under the car
