Default Factory pedal spacer(s)

Made of plastic, the spacers are 15mm thick and bolt directly on the clutch or manual brake pedals using an existing 8mm threaded hole in the pedal, after removing the pedal pad. The pad then fits over the spacer. You can double them up for 30mm. ~$35 each from Porsche.

In the 6 mos I've had my '85 5-speed I haven't been able to get a comfortable position that didn't bother my left knee. Now, I can sit farther away from the steering wheel with my shortish (for my height) legs and long arms. The spacer is easy to install, works great, and is perfect with my adjustable clutchstop which reduces unneeded travel. I wasn't able to move the seat back, but I was able to raise the front of the (sport) seat up to the max, and the rear all the way down, which put my shoulders farther back, so I'm comfy, now.

FYI: Roger checked, Porsche says there are ~170 in stock. There used to be a automatic brake pedal sized version, but that is NLA.

Excellent find. Now, do they have this for the steering wheel?

First the radio blockoff plate, now these. Did you unearth some 1985 Tequipment catalog or something?

Yes, both of my 928's and my 944S have one.

Last time I talked to Mr.Anderson he had a couple of wheels with them installed.

On a track / DE car they are especially nice since they cut down on the number of times you turn on the windshield wipers (because the stalks will be further away from your fingers)

Now here's a trick question: Besides the door sills, where does the "928" model designation appear on every year and model?

Wow, I would be interested in some pedal spacers, if I can also get the steering wheel spacers...both my arms and legs are short.

M018 SPORTS STEERING WHEEL WITH ELEVATED HUB 30MM

The extended hub SW is one piece. AFAIK, you can't easily add the extension to a regular wheel.

Where do you think I got all those bolt lengths for the torques spreadsheet? I have spent a lot of time with the pdf's and seem to find new things all the time, but I had not seen these items. Are you looking at the pdf's, or the actual PET program? In any case, thanks for posting your finds!

I have a couple of stock steering wheels with the extensions, in stock
Can be recovered to match your interior.

Paul, you got my attention. Can you also make the wheel grip a little beefier like a sportier steering wheel? And How much...94 GTS Classic Grey.

I already have an aftermarket wheel with a Momo hub. Was hoping to find an extension to that.

Is it on all the parts that go in to making a 928 ????

I'm sorry, I should have been more precise in my description. Both steering wheels in question are the early model (non-airbag)
Nicole is right, I have never seen an extension on an airbag wheel.
