GTS front [322mm] rotors... who sells this ??

1 Attachment(s)
i am having a big problem sourcing this 322mm rotor, slotted and dimpled... anyone know who makes them or sells them ? i was thinking R1 Concepts or Royal Rotors, but as for confirming this or finding a contact point i have had no luck getting anywhere -- or in touch with 928 Motorsports, who i do understand, sell full brake kits, but i am just looking to source the rotors -- and zero luck.

talk to roger at 928's rus or Dave at 928 specialists

From what I remember the stock GTS front rotor is just plain with no dimples or slots. Part number 928 351 045 01 and 928 351 046 01. Only sell a few stock compared to the cast hole rotors.
I sell the cast hole GTS rotors for $179 each.
Part number 965 351 045 01 and 965 351 046 01. In stock and ready to ship 8>)

ROG, thanks, but i didn't want to run cross drilled and i liked these in the photos because they look less boring than the solid rotors.

Ole is coordinating the t.port............:burnout:

They look like EBC rotors.

ended up going with stock GTS rotors, and they're great.... but i got a pm about where to get them cheap. i know SunCoast in Sarasota has the lowest prices on these (even lower than Sunset in Oregon), but i was wondering....

what about Brembo AUDI A8 Rotors 323x30 - part # 4D0 615 301 J/BB

they might be had for as low as $80~$100 each. anyone tried these ?

ROG100 04-20-2011 12:34 PM

Most of the Brembo, Pilenga rotors for the A8 are about $80 each.
4D0 615 301 J = Brembo, Zimmerman or Winhere and plain with no slots.
We stock the Brembo for $75 each - interesting if they work.

odurandina 04-20-2011 12:44 PM

my bad. if i'm reading correctly, the A8 has 5 X 112 hubs. :banghead:

Yeah I've looked everywhere for a 322 x 32 rotor in 5 x 130 pattern. I called Suncoast and they weren't sure that they were 322 Dia rotors? I just stated I needed GTS rotors from "95.... Anyways, I was given the go to build hats for the Wilwoods 12.72" x 1.25 (13.4 lbs) and mock them up for the Wilwood Calipers.

I found a thread that the GTS rotors are 22.4 lbs... is this # correct?

odurandina 04-20-2011 01:17 PM

they are indeed 322mm. they weigh a ton. at least 22.4 pounds. :roflmao:

xschop 04-20-2011 01:24 PM

Ok. Just talked with Roger and the cast hole GTS rotors are 21.37 lbs as compared to the solid GTS rotors (@22.4 lbs?) So this makes sense. Current pricing is $205 each for the cast hole which is a great price.

mark kibort 04-20-2011 01:26 PM

did someone mention the 965T rotors? I used them for a few races, but the holes crack near the edge. if they only made them like the mercedes style of holes (only 3 per row vs the 4 and 5 of the 965) they wouldnt crack near the edge. now, racing with plain old GTS rotors because they are cheap and dont crack as fast.

xschop 04-20-2011 01:34 PM

I like the cast hole rotors for the daily driver (they do make a difference in the rain). I'm building a set for a local guy putting in an LT4 with goodies and he wants 322 rotors as the Cayenne rotors are too friggin heavy (24 lbs).

Hey Mark, What are the dims and weight on the 965 rotors?

odurandina 04-20-2011 01:37 PM

not sure these guys know what you're talking about Robert.

i assume you're talking about a stout SB Chevy Generation 2 variant (LT4) in a 928 ?

that's practically considered 'pushrod blasphemy' in these circles.
