Pair of 8" Bosch Headlights FS
SOLD NOW $300 for the Pair)I just put a pair of 8" Bosch headlights in classifieds for $400 for the pair. They came out of my '82 928, but also match the dimensions of another pair in my
'91 GT. Suspect the will fit a bunch of different applications. I started to clean one of them, but the label stared to come off, so I stopped. No bulbs are installed. Thanks

Just checked and the left one has one complete tab missing and the top 1/3 of another. The one on the right has the top 1/3 of one tab broken off. The retention rings on my car held the insert firmly in place so the lights could be aimed and didn't vibrate.

Larry - you might want to note that these are a set of genuine Bosch H4's.
I'd post a close-up of the white ball socket tabs - that's the only reason I can imagine as to why these haven't been snapped up already....

Hey Alan-
I'll take some more pictures tomorrow. But, tabs are like termites in Arizona, sooner or later, you'll have termites and sooner than later, your tabs will break. The ball will still fit in the remaining plastic parts and a spring (if you want to have motor adjustment) or a wire can hold the light solidly in place. The almost new ones that were on my '91 have more broken tabs than these, which must be almost 30 years old.
Thanks for the advise.
