'95 928GTS 5spd 6,700mi - in CT
I know there's a classified section but I know I don't surf it often and I appreciate heads up on cool cars in the 930 section, figured you all might here as well. I'll put this in the classified section too tho.
My bud's selling a '95 GTS, silver/black, 5spd, 6,700mi (not a typo). The car is *new*... still on OE Contis even. Looks new feels new SMELLS NEW. Fully stealer serviced. Window sticker, all keys, books, not a mark anywhere nothing. Think option-wise it has the power driver lumbar. Aftermarket Alpine head unit, and some sort of period-correct phone installed (grrr!).
Best is VIN suggests this is #62 of the 77 imported for '95, the 16th to the last of the 406 GTSs for NA and the end of the 928 run. Neat!
Car's in NE CT here. Think he's set the price @ $62k, and is in no hurry to sell.
I only got a crappy cell shot sorry, I'd forgotten my !@#$%&* carmera. Took it for a whirl around the block - what a time capsule! Cars got good nuts, I was pretty impressed.
PM or email me for contact info, he's a great guy/longtime close friend, and a die hard enthusiast but not a forum member. He'd like to see it go to someone who appreciates it for what it is, I figured THAT person is found HERE! 8-)
(edit: weird, just noted my post count came up as SEVEN!? - dunno what happened, I've been posting on the 930 board here for years - ah well)

Would he consider a really nice GT in trade!
But seriously, that car is worth more than $62K, do a search on here for one that sold for much more.

No offense to the OP, but maybe $62k isn't what the seller wants. He's been asking like $89k for the last 8 years, maybe the price has dropped to $82k? Or maybe its $62k plus the OP's 911 etc? Until we here terms directly from the seller hard to say what the final deal might be.

$82k sounds a little closer... $62k and Micheal or Todd will already be owning this car! Didn't that recent GTS that Micheal have bring $92k... close on miles was also a 5spd '95 car right? The one out of CA, yea?

James - It was a Midnight Blue/grey '94 GTS 5 speed with similar miles. I was thinking the same thing this morning - "well there's a quick $30 grand to be made."

Thanks Jarrod, I couldn't remember if it was '94 or '95, was thinking due to price it was a '95. This one should be worth more than that one since it is the last year right?!
