Darien, I've got an extra bed, booked a double just in case.

Don't laugh
Darien, be very careful about this offer. We had a coming out party for Sean at this very same hotel last year. At the very least you will want to verify with the hotel staff that it is a double.

FLASH! NEWS ALERT! Is it too late to reschedule the Third Coast gathering? November 7 is opening day for the South Texas deer hunting season. We may have to rethink our attendance this year....that or arrive with a buck strapped on the hood.
Anyone for venison Saturday night?

The Horizon Blue had me from hello....
I've always thought two is better, but the spousal unit not only disagrees but says no-one else would have me anyway...
Mine is being held hostage by the make-up artist, the latest and greatest promised release date is Friday morning

We look forward to hearing about you and the makeup artist. Sounds like it has potential to upstage Sean's routine last year.

Just a friendly reminder that this year like last there will be at least one (and we had two last year) peron in wheelchair so lets start off with a wheelchair friendly place for dinner on Friday so we don't have to move everyone and **** a bunch of people off...

James,
We'll be at River City Grill on Friday night
I'm pretty sure the elevator to the deck will be fixed as they've had a year to do it.
I'll check with Paul Brady the manager there just to make sure.
Here's the website.

Last year we hit Texas Hills winery before lunch, and Grapecreek after lunch.

Here's the plan for the drive this year.... We're going to head southeast just to the south of Lake Travis, but staying off 71 as much as possible, down to around Bee Cave, then head towards Hamilton Pool, then through Dripping Springs, where Donald's car hopefully will no longer reside, and on to an Italian styled winery called Mandola, then back to Dripping Springs for lunch. After lunch, we'll head south to Wimberley, and do a loop through that area and then go west towards Blanco, and up 281 back to visit Texas Hills Winery again. After that it's a straight shot back to Marble Falls, and there may be an alternate back roads route for those that have not had enough fun.

We ran about 7 hours last year, and I'm hoping this will be more like 5-6. Donald and I will be driving the route Friday after picking up his car, assuming it's ready... :-)

I'm hoping to get maps out this week, posted here, so you can print your own, or setup the route in your GPS ahead of time.

Don,
Sounds like a plan!

James,
Talked to Paul at River City Grill and yes the elevator is fixed. Also, the space heaters are out and ready for us to stay warm on the deck.

For all attending the initial get together. Walk across the parking lot to River City Grill and ask for the 928 party. We'll be on the lower level in the back of the restaruant on the deck.

Look for a loud English guy who goes by the name of Roger Doger!!

Lunch will be in Dripping Springs at Creek Road Cafe, which has very good reviews. They know we are coming, and should be able to accomodate us at two long tables. I estimated about 30 people, arriving about 12:30. Tip will be added to each individual bill, and they will have a couple of extra folks in to help wait on us, and make sure it goes smoothly. I'll give them a call as we leave the first winery to let em know we are coming.

Here's a link to their menu. They suggested asking everyone to select in advance to save time. Should be tasty!
