I'm planning on coming, at least for one day. Unfortunately I have two of my 928's disassembled for paint at the moment. I will probably bring the widebody but it isn't ready to be shown. It's still in pretty rough shape. We'll see. I'd just like to see everyone. It seems like it's been awhile since we've gotten together as a big group.

Im heading up there for Saturday although I might be taking the 944. The last time I took the 28 it the front spoiler got hung up in the tunnel.

oh wow, were you in the big tunnel on turn one off of Williamson or the small one off of International Dr?? You must sit real low if it was in the big tunnel. Even my son's Roush can make it thru there w/o a problem. I always recommend 928s only go thru the large tunnel & not attempt the small one cause it's really steep & small.

Alright, the head count is improving. That will keep me motivated to get pigpen done in time for the big event!

Ok, a bit more details of the events. Per PCA, "There will also be "Hot Lap" rides in one of several new Porsche Pamamera's from a special drawing of purchased tickets. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to one of the FCR's supported charities." How cool would that be to be the 1st in your neighborhood to get that ride!

PCA will also have some gatherings during the event. Also remember, once you are in the infield you pretty much have full access to the garages to walk around & see the race cars, drivers, support people, vendors, etc.

I'm still waiting for specific times on the Autocross, rumors it will start around 10am. Location is to be at the northeast side of the infield on the GoKart track where Porsche of Melbourne had the free rides thru the cones in a 911 last year, then let you drive it too.

We just bought a house a couple mile from the speedway..I won't have a 928 down there yet but I will be in town for the realestate closing and will try to stop by and meet some of you folks

We are in Pelican Bay on Beville Road...any 928 owners close by??

Ha !..Not a true snow bird, we will be coming down for bike week, race week and a bunch of long weekends throughout the year. My one requirement was that we at least have a two-car garage so I can leave some toys down there to play with. I think that's where my wife's 928 cabrio is going to live.
